The Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX utilizes advanced carcass construction methods and tread design features to produce a rugged, commercial grade, all-terrain tire with remarkable on-road traction, stability and low noise characteristics. The alternating 4/5 rib tread pattern features internal siping for an optimal blend of all-season and off-road performance and also randomizes tread block impacts with the road to provide a quiet ride. Micro-gauge siping improves all-weather performance without sacrificing tread block rigidity and also helps to prevent stone retention and drilling. Rounded corners on sipes help to provide crack and tear resistance by reducing stress concentrations in the tread blocks. The Discoverer ST MAXX features dual-draft angles along the tread block walls and stone ejector ribs to help minimize stone retention and to resist cutting and chipping. 3-ply carcass utilizing an angled ply construction helps to dissipate impact forces and improves overall durability. Silica and natural rubber based tread compound provides exceptional wet traction while further enhancing cut and chip resistance. The Discoverer S/T MAXX is M+S rated for all-season performance and studable for enhanced winter traction. Select sizes available with outline white lettering (OWL) where noted.
